So I can focus on getting a job.

About me. 

I'm a single Mom who has had an extraordinary amount of bad luck between jobs.  My car is on it's last legs, and I've been making myself sick trying to hold things together. I am doing what I can, but at this moment, time is running out and I would appreciate any help. I am not happy to ask, but sometimes a person can be brought to a breaking point that could use a little glue or maybe duct tape.

You hear about these folks who are so close when it comes to finances, that if just one little thing goes wrong, everything falls apart.

Well.  That is where I am. 

I honestly thought I'd never be starting one of these. 

The fact that it has come to this for my little family is something that I am actually rather ashamed of.  I don't ask for help easily, or take the generosity of family, friends and/or strangers lightly.  

As of 10/2/18, I have been on more than 30 job interviews since losing my job on 9/10/2018.  None have been productive.  I'm well aware that I'm horrible at Interviews, but I've never had THIS much trouble.  

I am actively looking for work that I am capable (physically, mentally) of doing.  I *WANT* to work.  I *WANT* to provide for my son and myself.  I just can't seem to find anything.  

What I am needing help with.

I am behind on my rent for September by $325.

I owe $425 for October's rent.

I currently have a Disconnect Notice (10/10/18) from City Utilities for $134.00.  Total Bill is $258 (Amount rounded)

My Phone is due on 10/20/18 for $40.00

In addition to this, I need work done to my vehicle, and to make the payment to my car insurance.

I have contacted the Assistance agencies in my area, and either they are out of funds, or - for whatever reason - I don't qualify.  

 

If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.  If you can't help, but share this with someone else who can, I would greatly appreciate it.  I wish I had a way to be able to individually thank those folks who feel like or are able to help.  All I can say is that when I can, I will pay it forward to others who need a hand up out of a bad situation.
