S.M.S. Save My Son

Donation protected
Once upon a time, I was blessed with two vibrant, spirited lillte boys.  Born 2 years and 2 months apart they always were best of friends.  It seemed that they always were a pair; favorite play was being outside; any kind of weather.  I have a very fond memor of a hot summer afternoon following a heavy rainstorm.  There was what seemed to be a stream or river running down our stream; so on went the boots (no shocks) and the cute little raincoats over skinny bare chests and off they went.
Anyways, fast forward almost 20 years.  My eldest son, Zac was found dead on October 23 barely living for twenty-seven years. His death is "pending" but I know heroin was the killer.  Yes, he's part of the now media popular oohiod epedemic.  And yes both of these sweet little boys made that 1 wrong choice, just once and became addicts to herion. Max, 25, was well on his way to recovery with almost 4 years sobriety completed.  But he relasped, life is difficult for most yound adults today.  He is a daddy to a 10 month old, works road construction over 9 -10 hours per day, and tries to be a good fiance.
Max is now in detox.  For those of you who aren't aware of what this entails, just imagine having the worst flu symptoms you remember and compound the pain and discomfort by days and days of suffering.
Yes, he choose to use this horrific drug that our government has made affordable and readily available to anyone, anywhere.
I want to save my son.  I have limited funds due to the past of helping my sons and recent funeral expenses.  I am able to go into debt a little bit more. I am single a fully employed mom with a career in public education.  I realize this is not a pleasant topic.  I am in a place that I would not wish on my worst enemy.
Max is the most kind-hearted, caring, giving, individaul that I have ever known.  He needs this chance at rehab to bring him back ot the place he needs to be; a sober, hard-working, loving daddy.
Every cent raised will go to off-set the the cost of his drug rehabliitation for my son.  He needs this help, I know in my heart he wants sobriety to move on with life and watch his son grow up. He needs to know that he is loved and valued, please reach out to him and let him know he is in your thoughts.
Thank you for reading, pray for all those afflicted with this horrible pain of addiction, all families deeply feel the pain, we all suffer.
