SMS Robotics Worlds Competition

This is the first year for the SMS Robotics team from Sanford Middle School in Opelika, Al. We had 5 teams compete in the State Championship on 3/11/2017 at Jacksonville State University and 3 of them are advancing to the Worlds Championship in Louisville, Kentucky on April 19-24, 2017!! SMS Robotics has 2 teams that placed in 1st place for the state in Elementary division. Teams Viper and Metal Squad. We had 1 team place 2nd in Middle School division. We also had a team place 5th for State in Elementary and are on a waiting list to compete at Worlds, Team Metal Jackets. We would love to have all the members of SMS Robotics go to Worlds to cheer our amazing group of kids on. We are so proud of you guys!!
