Yesterday the 6th March we had the most devastating news of our dear family friend Tim Smith, that he had an awful accident and needed to be airlifted to Brisbane with head injuries.
What makes this an absolute tragedy is the fact that he was to marry his beautiful fiancee Kym the mother of their beautiful little Son Hudson on Saturday the 9th March.
It is too early to know the extent of his injuries but suffice to say it will be a lengthy recovery.
I have started up this GoFundMe page to raise funds to help with the ongoing costs of rehabilitation and the ongoing support of his family.
Tim's business "Tim Smith Constructions Queensland" is well known in the district for delivering high quality building projects and is well regarded by his many customers.
The business is flat out and will miss Tim's input enormously at this awful time.
