Smith Family Support

As many of you may already know, 11 year old Blake Smith was hit by a car while walking home from school on Wednesday, November 9th. He was immediately transferred to Nebraska Medicine in very critical condition. Despite his tremendous fight and amazing efforts by his team of caregivers, Blake passed away from his injuries on the morning of November 12th. Blake was surrounded by the love of his family and their friends over the last several days. Blake's family has no doubt that their "little mountain man" is resting high in those mountains that he loved.

There have been so many people in the community that have reached out and asked how they can help Scott, Anna, Cole, and Reese cope during this difficult time. This page is to help raise funds to assist the Smith Family in simple ways over the next few months. Small things such as meal planning, groceries, house cleaning, counseling services, doggy care, new clothes for Cole and Reese, and anything else they may need.

Blake and his family will be forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Your help will not go unnoticed. Thank you!
