SmartGlamour is a one woman, self funded, indie + ethical, inclusive + customizable clothing brand that over the past (just shy of) 5 years, has produced 11 fully inclusive runway shows. For our 12th show, and 5th year anniversary, we are reaching out to our community for support. *Read to the end for ticket details and rewards for your donations.*
We have previously never charged for tickets - but this year we will be using those funds to put the show up. If you'd like to donate more - you can earn store credit to shop with us! This new collection will be live and available for purchase on the same day as our runway show.
SmartGlamour runway shows are different from mainstream runway shows in a few ways: 1. We showcase the current season, not the future. All of our items are hand made to order in NYC straight to consumer - so we do not have the typical production lead time. 2. All of our clothing is affordably priced and available for purchase on the same day as the show and when you visit our site, you'll see the same models there that you saw on the runway. 3. Our runways are filled with models of all different sizes, shapes, heights, weights, ability, gender, and ethnicity. We aim to curate an accurate representation of the population. Models style themselves - they decide if they were heels or flats, wear their glasses, or use any walking assistance. Their smiles and confidence are natural and real.
Fashion is a wonderful tool - but in order to reach it's potential, it must be accessible. Accessible in size, in price, and in representation. And it should aim to lessen it's negative impact on the planet environmentally. If a self funded one woman business can tackle all of this - why can't everyone else? How will the money be spent?
The $800 we are raising will cover the following: - Rental Space for our Casting (which already occurred 1/26) - Rental Space for our Runway Show (Fri 2/10 -event details here , will be sharing any and all updates on this page and then via email to those who donate) - Payment for our Event Photographer - Any additional funds will go toward our Spring Collection costs and Photo Shoot Rental Space cost ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will follow up to all donations $5 and up to confirm whether the ticket is for virtual or in person.
