Have not seen my family in 3 years

Im from south africa and i moved to the United states in 2015, I have not seen my family since March 2015.

I want to go visit them so bad but plane tickets are ridiculous expensive for Christmas. I would love to see them and surprise them. We are a very close knit family and has always been. Even though financially it was always tough we always try our best to help each other in any way we can.

I love my family to death, we have always been a close family even though money wasnt always available.  They have been asking me to visit them constantly but me and my wife just cant afford it. Seeing my family would mean the world to me, even if i can only go for a week.
Any little bit helps. Like my dad always said, "if you have 99 cents you dont have a dollar, you still need one more cent to have a dollar."
