Fly Jonna Back to the Philippines!

For Jonna’s birthday, we want to surprise (sshhh!) her with a ticket back to her childhood home in the Philippines! Jonna moved to Maryland nearly 10 years ago and has only been able to visit once since then, and that was a short trip only for visa formalities. She has been committed to her studies and attained a prestigious scholarship to attend the University of Maryland this year. When she isn’t studying every page of her accounting textbooks, she is working two jobs. She has been trying to save up her money to purchase a ticket for a long time, but every time she gets close a roadblock gets in the way, whether it be tuition or a family emergency.

Jonna is a generous person with a huge heart. In times when her family needs her, she steps up and helps. For her 21st birthday, we’d love to be able to show her how much we appreciate her and the amazing human being she is. Jonna does so much for us and the people around her, this is our chance to thank her!
