Skokie Cares is a group of eight Skokie organizations that are working together to support all of our residents and help to build a better Skokie.
We are raising money to purchase 3,000 lawn signs and 5,500 buttons that proclaim that everyone is welcome here!
Why? We were concerned about reports that some of our residents were being bullied. These residents were told to go back to the country they came from, or were yelled at for wearing hijabs. These residents were feeling anxious and unwelcome in our community.
