Skippy the pup fight for life

Donation protected
Three weeks ago Skippy the pup was seriously injured in an unprovoked vicious attack by a larger dog. This tiny 15 pound dog clung to life as the Woodbury Animal Control Officer Judy Finucane Umstead upom arriving at the scene, rushed him to the Watertown Animal Hospital. Only his will to live and the expertise of the staff gave him a slim chance of survival. He had suffered extensive life threatening injuries, and endured up was to be countless surgeries. The town of Woodbury have exhausted their veterinary care budget, but can only hope others will donate to this little pups will to live and the extensive costs associated with his ongoing veterinary expenses and what will be countless hours ahead of rehabilitation due to the massive injuries to not only muscle but ligaments and tendons as well as now kidney care. Skippy has made it through three weeks of pain and the fight to live. The great news is, as soon as he well enough, a loving forever home has already been found for him. This go fund me is to help pay the now quite large costs of his care. This sweet heart may still have more surgeries to go, but who could not cheer for a dog who wanted so much to live and fought so hard to survive. Every dollar helps. Even $10 could cover a pain med or food the day. Thank you for supporting Skippy and would you kindly share. Every donor if they choose will receive a thank you card from Skippy personally signed with a paw print.
