Niki and I are now international competitors!!! This is us representing USA at the 2018 Lake Placid Ice Dance International. We have more competitions coming up, but our big challenge now is to take and
pass the six tests Niki needs in order for us to be able to do qualifying competitions (Sectionals and
Nationals). The tests are all on August 10th. We will keep you updated. Also we have recorded about ten videos, including Niki demonstrating how to do the Axel and other jumps, as well as skating skills videos. My laptop is broken right now, but I ordered parts so should be back to making regular videos within this week. I am a leaf on the wind again. After the 2018 US Nationals, my partner Ashley wrote me a letter, explaining that she has decided to persue other options. I respect her decision and wish her the best.
As for me, I have moved back to PA, and am looking for a new partner. I don't know where I will end up, but you can be sure that I will keep working hard to get better and better at skating. And as always, what I learn I'll share with you. Thank you for your support!!!
