The Iron Pigs Motorcycle Club is a nonprofit motorcycle club for law-enforcement officers and firefighters.
April 16, 2016 is our fourth annual cancer fundraising ride. This year we ride once again for Nemours Children's Hospital located in Orlando Florida.
How we got our start with cancer fundraising…
In 2013 a work colleague and Iron Pig brother received news that his sister had been diagnosied with brain cancer, it was a huge shock for the family as you can imagine.
In just three short months, our chapter brothers pulled together a Poker Run… Kelly's Wish which drew about 150 motorcycles and raised $3,000.00 to help with some medical expenses.
In 2014, we colloborated with Nemours Children's Hospital for our first Pigs Against Pediatric Cancer ride, bringing together 300 motorcycles and raising over $5,000.00.
2015 proved to be a huge success with a $13,000.00 donation being made to Nemours Children's Hospital.
Easy EEE from the Orlando chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club took home the grand prize, a 2015 Indian Scout Motorcycle from Indian Motorcycle Orlando.
The Fourth Annual Pigs Against Pediatric Cancer Ride will hit the streets in support of our kids at Nemours Children's Hospital on April 16th, 2016.
We will be offering a 2016 Indian Scout from Indian Motorcycle Orlando, but this year we take it a step further! Red Cloud Indian Motorcycle Parts will be putting together three custom accessory packages for the Indian Scout.
Thats right, not only will you be able to choose the color of your Indian Scout, but you'll have three custom packages to select from, making this Indian Scout a truly, "one-off" custom bike, designed by you!
Registration starts at 10am at Nemours, kickstands up at 12noon. (Directions)
Registration fee gets you an event T-shirt, escorted ride and a Johnny's Filling Station armband for 1/2 off food and drink! (Directions)
