Sister Maria Musa Ankur

Maria Musa Ankur was a devoted Catholic Nun who dedicated her life serving God, teaching children, caring for her sick mother and helping people in Eritrea, Sudan and Ethiopia. Maria Ankur was born in Barentu, Eritrea, East Africa and migrated to the United States in 2014.  She passed away on Wednesday the 11th 2017 after suffering in a hospital bed for sometime due to spleen cancer. Maria Ankur and her brother Carlo Ankur are new to the Phoenix, AZ United States and really need the communities support with the funeral expenses. Because of the financial hardship experienced by her brother Carlo Ankur and with the spleen cancer Maria had to fight is why this gofundme account is set up. The hope is to ease the financial burden during these trying times and help offset funeral expenses.  Any financial support will help offer our beloved Sister Maria  Musa Ankur a respectfully funeral service and burial she deserves. The wish is to fundraise for the funeral expenses before Wednesday the 18th of January 2017 and prepare for the funeral service and burial on Thursday January 19th, 2017.  Any help you give will help ease the financial burden Carlo Ankur will experience and it will be greatly appreciated by the Ankur family.
