Single Mom goes to jail over “Civil” FTA

A lot of people have been offering to help my family and I after I went to jail for three days because of a civil FTA over an unpaid ambulance bill from five years ago. I have been getting messages every day from people begging to donate. This was never about money for me more than it shows a dire need for social reform in more ways than one.
However, if you really would like to donate, $4,000 would definitely help me pay my parents, ex-husband, and others who have helped me during my difficult time this past year, back, as well as cover the remaining balance I owe to EMS.
There is absolutely no pressure, though. I initially was opposed to setting up this GoFundMe but a lot of people have insisted I stop being stubborn and accept the help I’m offered.
All I have to say, is that I’m very humbled by all of the sweet people who exist in this world and who offer to lift each other up when needed.
