Morriss House - Singing for Dishes

Donation protected
We're Doris's family. Doris is one of 25 residents living at Morriss House Care home in Crouch End. It specialises in caring for people with dementia.

The house doesn’t have a dishwasher, and so the staff have to manually wash all the dishes used throughout the day and night.

A dishwasher would free up staff to help with meal times more consistently rather than having to move from one resident to another.

They would have more time to sit with residents during meal times.

We're putting on a carol singing event with some of the residents from Morriss House, and hopefully other members of the local community. It will be on Thursday 17th December in the lobby area of Waitrose - exact timing TBC but likely to be around 11.30am.

We need to raise £2500 to buy and install a commercial use dishwasher.

Care homes often get bad reputations. At Morriss house, the staff are overflowing with kindness and compassion. They are constantly working so hard to make sure everyone in their care is treated with dignity and respect. We would be so grateful if you could help us to raise money for the house, and bring a sparkle to the staff and residents of Morriss House.

Thank you!
