We are so excited to announce we’re adopting!

It feels so good to tell everyone about this decision that has been a long time coming. We are eager to be parents and we trust that God will lead us through this journey.

In 2014 we decided that we were ready for children. After trying unsuccessfully for an extended period of time we received the disappointing news from doctors that we would not be able to conceive. While exploring recommended fertility options, adoption overwhelmingly landed on both our hearts. It was undeniable that this is what our path was supposed to be. Making this decision has been the best thing we’ve done together.

To say it takes a village to adopt is an understatement. We are going to need the support of our friends and family!

First, please keep us in your prayers. This can be a long, tough journey.

Second, is in the form of monetary donations. You can donate here or we will be selling tee shirts very soon and hosting fund raising events if you’re local.

According to Hank Fortner, Founder of Adopt Together, only 2% of couples that look into adoption follow through because of the financial burden. We don’t want the financial struggle of adoption to keep us from growing our family.

It is humbling to reach out and ask for help. We want you to know that we are grateful for everyone who is supporting us in any way at all.
