We are proud to present the newest innovation of Hassons Hives, Silicomb, a completely food grade frame, please see above link for more info.
We have designed, developed and tested protype frames in field trials and we are now ready to begin the next stage of research and devoplment of manufacturing our Silicomb frames.
We plan on developing a manufacturing process to develop both Frames and Extraction products with research and testing throughout to ensure we are providing the best possible solution for a totally food/medical grade Beehive and Honey harvest.
Funding is required so we can aquire the required machinery and raw materials to manufacture, develop and commercialize our Silicomb frames.
Our first step is to aquire equipment to manufacture the base frame, and dies for the silicon cell matrix mold..
Once we achieve this we will then move onto further field trails and clinical research into the quality of honey produced etc.
Further devoplment will require manufacture and development of the extraction method, we would like to propose an automated closed system as we believe this method will produce the best possible honey quality and production times for commercial Beekeepers.
We would also like to implement a user friendly extraction method for the smaller Beekeepers.
We believe our Silcomb frames, along with our allready proven Aussie Hive, will be the becnhmark for any food-grade hive, with a strong emphasis on medical grade honey. Our system would prove to be the only medical grade system, allowing the fast-growing medical honey industry to truely claim medical grade.
We stand by Australia's ability to manufacture quality products, and we will continue to support our homeland.
