My name is Ashley Nicole Hunter, and I’m an undergraduate studying creative writing at the University of Central Arkansas. Inspired by penny dreadfuls and pulp magazines, sources which made short, entertaining stories cheaply available to the public, I’m starting Sigil House Publishing to continue this goal.

Beginning in the summer, my aim is to start digitally publishing short stories across all genres for the quick, easy enjoyment of readers. And just like publications in the past, I’m offering the stories for cheap: just $0.50 each, less than the price of a bottle of soda.
 
This is made possible by the focusing on digital printing, as well as the largest amount of writers currently in existence that the world has ever seen. We’re committed not only to providing cheap, easily selectable short stories to our readers, but to PAYING our authors for their work as well, something that is made possible by mass digital sales.

We’re trying to raise $10,000 to ensure Sigil House Publishing is fully funded. That all goes towards paying authors, advertising their work, and ensuring customers get prompt delivery of awesome short stories for just $0.50 each.
