On October 16th, 2018, my best friend Jessica and my good friend Junior received the heartbreaking news that their 4 month old daughter Sky wad diagnosed with Leukemia (type: ALL).
They were told that Sky would need surgery and chemotherapy. They have been in the hospital for almost 4 weeks now and have received an outpouring of love and support from friends and family. However, medical expenses and bills are adding up and financials are the last thing they should have to worry about at this time in their lives.
The funds donated here will go towards Sky's medical bills, gas for hospital visits (as Junior and Jess's parents can't be at the hospital 24/7), food, etc.
At this point in time, Sky is doing well and continuing treatment. Although they still have a long road ahead of them, after a couple of more weeks of chemotherapy, they will know more of what's to come next.
Any amount helps and any contribution made is so greatly appreciated! No person, let alone a 4 month old baby, should have to go through something this difficult.
Let's help where we can and show them that even though we may not be there, we are all standing side by side, together, for Sky.
