Help us get Married

Hi my name is Natasha, I am 24 years of age and I have had 3 double lung transplants in the last 4 years due to complications with Cystic Fibrosis and rejection.


During my entire adult life I have spent about 80% of the time in hospital for treatments both before and after my transplants adding on the tiring months of rehabilitation after each surgery. I worked so hard just to breathe for so many years that I have not been able to seek employment. To this day I have been unable to work due to currently having 28% lung function (on a good day) and an oxygen tank that is required for what should be simple every day tasks i.e. showering.

One thing I was lucky in though, was love. I have an amazing partner (Brodie) and last year, after my third double lung transplant, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Brodie unfortunately can only work part-time due to being a gentleman and helping me with my every day care, and we are finding it increasingly difficult to save for our dream of a wedding. 


Recently I have been given news from my specialist that these lungs are also failing and there is very little they can do.
My wish is to marry my best friend before I don’t get the chance to.
