Sampson's Fire Survivor Fund
Donation protected
Sampson (Sammy) was the only survivor of a house fire on 9/11/15 that killed his owner and 12 other Shiloh Shepherds. Sammy was found by the firefighters, burrowed under his pack. He was rushed to an Emergency Veterinary Clinic with damage to his lungs, and spent over a week in recovery. In 2015, we created a gofundme page to help with those bills, and to cremate the other Shilohs who parished in the fire.
Sammy, upon release from the Emergency clinic, was fostered, and soon adopted, by a Shiloh family dedicated to his health and recovery. Since the fire, Sammy has lived a very normal life, but has occasional crashes due to the damage to his lungs. Sammy's most recent crash, due to pneumonia, resulted in a Veterinary bill of $8,000, not including follow up radiographs and treatments. Sammy is a very special young boy, with an incredible will to live.
Any help to his adoptive family to keep up with his care would be appreciated beyond words.
