Showing love for Novy

As many of you are already aware, last week our beloved Novy suffered a stroke.  Thank God, Novy is doing well, but he has a long road ahead of him.  Novy's stroke was to the back of his brain, which is apparently an uncommon spot for a stroke to occur.  As of right now, Novy has lost hearing in his left ear and cannot walk well due to excessive vertigo and dizziness.  Prior to this stroke, Novy was in relatively good health and his doctors at JFK in Edison are hopeful about his recovery but they simply don't know what his longterm prognosis is at this time.

Originally, when I heard about this, I spoke to a number of friends in town and decided to do a collection.  A few donations turned into many and we quickly realized that there were many more people who might want to support Novy and his family. Novy has been such an important part of Hughes school for a long time.  He has "his kids" at Hughes, Columbia, GL and beyond - along with families that love him as well.  It was decided that a Go Fund Me page would allow more people the opportunity to contribute.  Novy and his wife Zaida both work, but right now, obviously, Novy cannot.  In the interim, they have children to care for and the holidays are just around the corner.  

If you feel so inclined, please consider donating to this fund for our dear friend Novy in order to relieve some of the burden and stress - and so he can focus on making himself well.  

It is our greatest hope that Novy will be 100% back to health soon...for himself, his family ....and his family at Hughes.
