D.J. Hale here presenting my second Short Film titled: Rebels, Followers & Kickbacks - A short film centered on trying to find yourself in the crucial period of teenhood, where outside opionions often validate your self-worth.
"Alex, a sheltered private school underclassman, sneaks out of her house to join her promiscuous bestfriend as they attend a 'Kickback' hosted by lascivious Seniors."
My first Short Film "If I Retaliate" - a film about gang violence and the choices we have living in these environments, is still undergoing its Film Festival circuit and has been met with much positive reception. Click the link at the bottom of the page to watch the Short Film!

WHERE YOU COME IN!
Rebels, Followers & Kickbacks (RFAK), is a powerful film that needs to be seen! Having attended five different High Schools and graduating in 2011, I feel I'm able to offer a fresh, realistic insight of what it's like trying to navigate through these crucial times, condensed into a 15 minute Short Film as impactful and poignant as "Thirteen."
It's expensive to make a good quality film with a high success rate of getting into Film Festivals. Things like Insurance, Locations, Crew, Equipment, Post-Production etc. requires funding. Much more funding than a couple part-time workers are able to put together themselves :)
Help us bring this vision to life! ANY Dollar amount helps. Whatever the final amount we end up with is exactly what will be used for all phases of production (Pre, Principal, Post) so the larger amount we raise, the more we can put into this film!
