Baby Avery's Medical Support

Due to a difficult birth on 12/12/15, our son Avery spent two weeks in the intensive care unit at Children's Hospital. After a grim and saddening diagnosis of severe brain damage, our baby was not expected to live without life support; however, Avery surprised us all and was able to come home on Christmas Day! As this is a crucial time for his brain to figure out new and different ways of doing things, we feel very fortunate to have some time now to be at home supporting Avery's development. Still, the combination of medical expenses and being away from work is becoming quite an expense. Many have followed Avery's story, and we have received such loving support from all directions with the kindest of words, thoughts and actions. We know that some are still wanting to help out in some way, and so we have set up this go fund me with the hope that some of our expenses might be lifted. Our thoughts are that many gifts combined might help us to come close to our goal.
