Remembering Shively

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 18, 2018, we lost an amazing soul, unexpectedly. Jeffrey D. Shively was a dedicated and loving father, son, brother and friend to all who knew him.

He leaves behind three beautiful sons: Jeffrey Jr., 16, Chase, 12, and 9 year old Jayden. Jeff loved these boys like nothing else in this world. He also leaves behind his parents  Cynthia and David. They all need us now.


 It is time to honor his life by helping his family. Jeff wore his heart on his sleeve and was always there for anyone who knew him, especially his family. He rarely missed an event and always showed up with that contagious smile. The loss his family is feeling right now cannot be filled with words, however we can help them in other ways.

With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also brings financial burden. We are trying to raise money for his family,  as well as be there for them in the future as they will need as much family as possible. In particular, his son, Chase, who suffers from Type 1 diabetes and requires insulin daily, which his father had been paying for monthly.


What makes a difference in this time of loss and sadness, especially around the holidays, is when you see people coming together to help another friends’ children.

Let’s remember Jeff by reminding his family and especially his boys what kind of friends he has.
