Support Sheri in her fight
Sheri Smith is a dear friend to so many and a five year breast cancer survivor. In mid-December Sheri found out that her cancer was back with a vengeance in her lymph nodes, bones, liver and lung. Her back pain was actually caused by cancerous lesions on her spine. Before She was able to receive Kyphoplasty to repair the vertebrae fracture caused by the Cancer, Sheri had a bout of pneumonia. Once the pneumonia passed and the back procedure was complete, she received her first round of chemo. Two days later, Sheri suffered eight strokes causing paralysis in her left side. Stroke treatment and prevention became the prominent concern of her doctors and further chemo was put on hold. A scan performed last week showed that the Cancer had advanced into her bone marrow and further into her liver. A low dose of chemo was given on Friday. Yesterday, Sheri suffered yet another stroke affecting her cognitive skills. An MRI was ordered and they are awaiting the results. Sheri is one of the kindest people you could ever know and loved by so many. If you or someone you know has been a victim of cancer, you know how financially devastating this is. Could you please make a donation to help our dear friend? If you are not able to contribute, please pray for Sheri and her family. Thank you.
Although we've lost our dear Sheri, we are moving ahead with the Fundraiser scheduled for March 9th at the Elks in Troy to assist her family with medical expenses. If you would like to donate an Auction Item, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
The doors will open at 5:00 with the Quarter Auction beginning at 6:00. There will also be Raffles, Refreshments and a 50/50 drawing.
Thank you for your continued support of Sheri and her family.
