Shelley Shamrock-Worlds Campaign

I began my Taekwondo journey about 8 years ago with 1 goal in mind - achieving my black belt, which I did in November last year.  Throughout this time I took part in numerous tournaments, sometimes winning and sometimes losing, but always being able to learn and take that new knowledge and use it in the next tournament.

Late 2015 my instructor spoke to me about the possibility of representing Australia at the 2017 ITF Work Championships in Dublin Ireland. The thought that I could represent my country was very exciting and there I started my intensive training schedule. 

This training has gotten me through some of the biggest milestones of my life. In November of 2016, I competed in the National Championships and came home with 3 gold medals, for Patterns, Sparring and Special Techniques, and 1 bronze medal for Power Breaking, eaarning me the title of Junior National Champrion. That tournament secured my spot on the Australian Team.

My goal now is to raise enough money to enable me to go to Ireland and represent Australia in this prestigious event.
