She's A Runner Girl Scholarship Fund

She's A Runner Girl is a fun, supportive, and active curriculum-based program located in Laramie, WY, USA. The program combines running and confidence-building activities to encourage lifelong healthy living in the Runner Girls - 2nd to 6th grade.

The She's A Runner Girl program is in it's 9th year and over 570 girls have participated in our program. We strive to make the program all-inclusive with a $25 program fee (includes the 6-week program, a t-shirt (thanks Rocky Mountain Shirtworks - https://rmshirtworks.com/), and entry into the culmination 5K Run).  We operate on a near zero-budget and just roll operating funds from one year to the next.

We also offer scholarships which includes entry into the program as well as a new pair of running shoes and socks (thanks Sports Locker https://www.facebook.com/sportslockerwy/) for the girls. Our scholarship fund account is separate from the operating expenses and we currently only have enough to cover 3 girls. We never want to turn away girls from our program, so we are asking for $1000 which will cover about 14 additional scholarships.
