Shawn's Everest Odyssey for Options

Beginning October 22nd and trekking through to November 11th, Shawn Veight will be climbing 18,000 feet to Mt. Everest Base Camp. A mentally and physically grueling feat of personal struggle much like the stresses and challenges of an unplanned pregnancy, Shawn has channeled his heart for a cause & trained for this climb.
His goal is a self-less one; raise $18,000 ($1 for every foot of elevation of his odyssey climbed) for Options for Women (Pregnancy Care Center Inc.) in Cherry Hill, NJ. The funds raised will be used to provide the women who come to Options with the mental, emotional and physical support they need when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. He is challenging the struggle of solitude in suffering to bring light and hope to others in dark, and sometimes hopeless places.
Shawn knows that his trek will be tough, but he also knows that the view from 18,000 feet up will be one of joy, freedom and clarity. His hope is that you will follow his self-less lead to see how your generous donations will provide the resources to spread the joy, freedom and clarity he’ll find at Base Camp to women & their babies struggling in confusing and often lonely situations.
