Shave Rave: The Sequel

It is not often that your brother’s wife turns out to not only be a sister, but a best friend too. Tegen, who we thought was technically ‘cancer free’, was sadly diagnosed with Leptomeningeal Disease on the 20th of August. In simple terms, the cancer has now spread to her brain and spinal cord fluid lining, as well as a few bones; there is currently no cure.

Despite this devastating diagnosis, Tegen continues to be the strongest, toughest and most resilient person going. No matter your own physical and/or mental strength, you feel weak simply standing near her. In our last GoFundMe, we raised an astonishing 7k and Tegen selflessly donated this to Bloomhill Cancer Centre. I don’t think I know anyone as good as her.

So, considering her overwhelming goodness, she did not want to start another fundraiser where the funds went directly to her - so I am instead. On the 26th of October, I will be shaving my hair again for Tegen and Alex. My goal is to raise $3.5k, but any money whatsoever would be so appreciated. It will help Alex and Tegen enjoy themselves, go on adventures, and make everyday an excellent one.
