Sharon Steed Relief Fund

A longtime member of our EME family, Sharon Steed of Hirsch Gift was displaced from her home by the rising waters of Hurricane Harvey in Houston on 8/27/17.

She and her mother were rescued by boat after more than 16 hours trapped in their home, which took on nearly 3 feet of water, and was rapidly rising when they were finally extracted.  Sharon and her family are safe now, but were only able to take a few clothes and personal items.

By the time she can get back to her home, it is likely that all will be lost...home, car and all personal belongings.

Insurance will only cover so much, and the scale of the disaster in Houston will mean a prolonged recovery period.  Let's help now by raising money for Sharon and her family as they look to begin recovering from this terrible and life-changing event.
