"One More Time" is our fun and funny, clean and corny, variety show duo. We're a husband and wife (and cocker spaniel) team, dedicated to serving seniors with our shows. We bring JOY and LAUGHTER, along with excellent musicianship, to each and every show. We LOVE what we do and would LOVE to perform for MORE SENIORS in communities that can't afford our normal prices.
"Well, hey ... just lower your prices."
We have already placed our prices in the range that many live-in senior communities can afford. And, believe us... it's low. In fact, though we work so hard at trying to find enough gigs to sustain a decent (not decadent) lifestyle, we have consistently needed to dip into the savings we have each year to sustain us.
"Well, hey ... just take what they can give you."
While that seems plausible, it's not a fair business practice. One community only has X to pay and they get the same show that the community down the street gets for the regular price?
We have the talent and motivation to perform more. It tears at my heart when they say, "We can't afford you." Sometimes it's a matter of $25. Sometimes it's $50 or more extra they need, because their budgets are so low for entertainment/activities of any kind. Any amount you feel inclined to give will be put toward these shows.
We want to be a bright light to these communities. We'd love to be able to tell the Activity Director that we have money donated by a sponsor that will cover the balance to meet the regular charge. Will YOU be the person who makes it possible for us to visit their live-in community?
We have an on-going business which serves several states throughout the country. There are sooooo many more live-in communities we could add with your support. If you'd like your donation earmarked for a specific area, you may do so.
When a retirement residence or senior center has a smaller budget than our show costs, we will take YOUR donation to make up the difference. We will also announce your generosity during the show, unless you'd like to remain anonymous. We will keep our GoFundMe information available on our website at all times, so you can see how we're doing.
It would mean sooooooo much to us to be able to bring our LOVE and JOY, LAUGHTER and TALENTS to more community-bound seniors! Our goal, with your support, is to perform for seventy more communities a year that cannot normally meet our price. Will you help us be there for them? Not only will WE be so thankful for your generosity, those SENIORS, their family members and their staff will be so thankful for your generosity!!!
