I currently live in Austin, Texas. My property taxes are around $4500 a year and rapidly going up - it's  time to downsize. I intend to put the house on market in February or March of 2017.  As we all know, it costs to move, but with this hot market I want to give my house a shine to get it "move in ready". There are 11 things I need to do:

1. 420 new fence pickets and at least 2 fence posts. Fix the backyard gate.

2. Repair left side of the deck, need wood planks. I replaced the right side on my own, it looks great.

3. Paint the interior and exterior.

4. New upstairs carpet. Screw down squeaky floor boards upstairs before installing new carpet.

5. Reposition and possibly regroove gas oven fixture to fit my new oven  so the oven can go all the way back against the wall.

6. Replace cracked upstairs glass window.

7. Patch a section of roof. Make sure to have proper flashing on chimmney roof.

8. Replace popcorn tape and float 3 ceilings.

9. Fix back porch facia 2 x 4s.

10. Plant some landscape flowers.

11. Pressure wash front driveway, back porch, and inside garage.

Once I get over the hump and sell the house, I'll be good but I can't really move forward until this happens.  All donations are greatly appreciated, no matter how large or small. And if you'd like to donate your time and help out with the work, that's great too!
