A Cappella Academy

Thank you so much for viewing this page. This summer I've been invited to attend the third session of A Cappella academy. However, I need your help to get there. Every penny counts. This program has been such an influence and inspiration to my life. The past two years here have been amazing and I don't know what I would do without this camp. I would really like to go again and I need your help to do it!


I thought I should share a bit about myself. I'm currently 17 years old from Oak Park, Illinois. I come from a very musical family so I started singing as soon as I stated talking. I grew up singing in church all the time and putting together my own groups. While I was singing gospel I decided to explore the versatility of my voice. So I started singing some R&B and jazz. I am absolutely in love with jazz. Everything from the history, to the theory, to the tunes and legends. I've really learned to mature my voice in a more jazzy tone. Thus I am super grateful to be apart of the Jazz group this year. Our group director is Tracy Robertson, who's original song you'll find in my audition video. I cannot wait to be under his leadership and guidance and sing his incredible arrangements.
