Shaina’s Fight Against Leukemia

No parent can ever be prepared to get the phone call and hear the words “you’re daughter has leukemia “ that one phone call turns your world upside down. Baby Shaina was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth along with TMD which is a disorder that mocks the symptoms of leukemia. Sadly on July 11, 2018 10 month old Shaina was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) On July 12th , 2018 baby Shaina started chemotherapy.  She will spend most of her time in the hospital for the remainder of 2018 receiving chemotherapy and being monitored 24/7. The Tabor Family is financially feeling the effects of having a special needs child that  also has cancer, Besides the medical bills that are already pouring in , the cost of gas and parking alone will be about $5,000 over the next 5 months . Jill has left her job to be able to care for baby Shaina and their other children full time. Also, many set backs have occurred to the Tabor family recently from job availability for Shane , to cars that have broke down and draining their savings account. The Tabor Family was in the middle of construction in their kitchen and other areas of their house when Shaina was diagnosed. Everything has been put on hold , which has left them with a barely functioning kitchen , no counters , no stove ,  no washer or dryer . To think a few months ago life was fine and this family was managing as any other family does to suddenly their whole world  seems to be falling apart in front of their eyes.  If you can help take a little burden off this family by donating or sharing it would be greatly appreciated .
