They need your help

Hace unos meses estuve trabajando de voluntaria en Hilo Rojo, una ong que opera en La Esperanza, uno de los barrios más pobres del Perú. A causa de las intensas lluvias torrenciales e inundaciones que están teniendo lugar estos últimos días, muchos de los niños que acuden a diario a nuestra escuela, se han quedado sin casa, sin cama, sin ropa ni comida. Las paredes de la escuela se han caído y está todo lleno de barro. Se está trabajando con los voluntarios que actualmente están allá, con la reconstrucción de las casas, de la escuela y repartiendo comida, ropa y calzado para las familias afectadas.
Desafortunadamente, con esto no basta, así que te pido, a ti, por favor, que ayudes a estos niños. A que tengan un techo donde vivir, una cama donde dormir, una escuela donde aprender…
Cada donación, por pequeña que sea es muy bien recibida, para alguien que, a tan corta edad, lo ha perdido todo. Muchas gracias.

A couple of months ago I volunteered in Hilo Rojo, an ngo operating in La Esperanza, one of the poorest neighborhoods in Peru. Due to the heavy torrential rains and floods that are taking place these days, most of the kids of our school, have lost their homes, their bed, their clothes and food. The walls of the school have fallen and all is full of mud. The volunteers that are currently there are working with the reconstruction of the houses, the school and handing out food, clothes and shoes for the affected families.
Unfortunately, this is not enough, so I ask you, please, to help these kids. To have a roof where to live, a bed where to sleep, a school where to learn…
Every donation, however small is very welcomed, to someone who, at such young age, has lost everything. Thank you so much.
