New York and Washington DC

Hello,
We are a group of students who are eager to learn and take on new experiences to do so. We are trying to fundraise to go on a trip to New York and Washington D.C. We live in San Fernando and attend San Fernando Institute for Applied Media. We are hoping to go on this educational trip for Spring Break next year. Next year in History we will be learning about U.S. History. On this trip we will get to visit Washington for 3 days we will visit the White house, Washington Monument, and WWII memorial, Mount Venon just to name a few locations. Then we will go to New York and spend two days where we will visit the Empire State Building, Stature of liberty, 9/11 Memorial, Time Square and watch a broad way show. The cost for each student is 2000 dollars. This cost includes flights, hotels, entry fees to museums and events, insurance, transportation and it pays for a tour guide. This would be the experience of a lifetime. Going to these locations would make our learning come to life because we would be able to see all of the places we are reading about. We have never been out of state. This trip would change our lives as young scholars. Anything you can donate will help. We are putting on plays, selling tickets, a film festival, a marathon to help raise the money. If there is any amount you can give it will help.
