We are proud and excited to finally bring to you our new album: "Solveig"!! Once again mixed and mastered at Gate Studios by Sascha Paeth and Miro Rodenberg.
This record and everything about it is completely self-funded. We want to deliver the absolute best we can to you!
"Solveig" is a theatrical metal concept album in two acts, including re-recorded and re-orchestrated versions of Act I (the origingal "The Cabaret of Dreams" EP).
A brief history: After meeting at Berklee College of Music, we released our first record in 2014. Just two months later, we played with Arch Enemy, Kreator, and Huntress, and then went on to sell out every piece of merch and every copy of the record we had, playing with Dark Tranquility, Apocalyptica, Epica, The Agonist, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Amaranthe, Carach Angren, Insomnium, Abigail Williams, Amaranthe, Butcher Babies, and more.
It's been a fantastic road so far. We're working hard to reach the next level, and we are thrilled you're on board with us.
Financial breakdown:
$1041 = USA manufacturing
$2,250 = North American partnership
$3,500 = European partnership
$2,000 = European manufacturing
$1,765 = Merch (mugs, stickers, tees)
Total: $10,556
This means that we can:
1) Deliver this album to you on our time (aka ASAP) instead of working around a label's schedule.
2) Operate as effectively as we are able to, without having to work around being a low-priority band on a label's roster due to our youth. Nobody wants their new record to be lost in the shadow of a bigger band's release!!
