seveneightfive magazine has been "proving Topeka nightlight is more than a vicious rumor" for 10 years. In that time, seveneightfive magazine has always been FREE.

seveneightfive was started to be a vehicle for information and community. We find joy in sharing the great things our city has to offer and being a connector between you and local businesses and events.

We are locally owned and operated. We only allow locally owned businesses to advertise within our pages and we've worked hard to keep advertising rates affordable.

It's been a labor of love and pleasure to serve you for the past 10 years.


We'd like to keep serving you with quality news about arts, entertainment local flavor and community events; so we ask if you'd consider tipping your favorite arts + entertainment "bartender" for the past 10 years of service.

As a small business, cash flow is always precarious. Our request simply elevates seveneightfive with an one-issue reserve. However, this is huge for us, as it allows us to move forward with confidence and better abilities to budget for pages, features, contributors, events and more.

We ask that you'd consider tipping us whatever you feel is appropriate. Perhaps $1 per issue you have read over the years. Or $10 to represent 10 years. Or $78.50 in honor of our name. (If everyone who reads the June/July issue donated 50c, we'd meet our goal.)

What ever it is, know that your contribution (tip) will go towards another 10 years of bringing you quality news, for free.  (And perhaps a bottle of bourbon next deadline, don't judge.)
