Services For Heather Craiger

My name is, Marcella. My sister, Heather, collapsed at a Wal- Greens on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, and was subsequently transported to Integris Hospital in Yukon. During her short stay there she coded twice due to a massive blood clot in her lung. They were able to stabilize her enough to transport her to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City to the Intensive Care Trauma Unit. She underwent countless tests and was hooked up to multiple machines to help dissolve the blood clot. During this time she had to be put on a ventilator. 
Today, March 8, 2019 the doctors performed an MRI of her brain and determined that she no longer has brain activity. They explained that since she coded those times that her brain took a large impact and it caused severe damage. She is currently still on a ventilator. Once the ventilator is turned off, it could be a matter of seconds, minutes, hours, or even days before she departs this physical world. Heather was not working nor did she have any type of health insurance coverage. Since this was such an unexpected and life altering event for our family, we are not financially prepared to take on the medical bills or the funeral expenses for our dear sister, daughter, and friend Heather. 
 She will be missed by many. Her infectious smile and laugh will forever be in our hearts and minds.
