Help Shar’s Recovery-New Service Dog In-Training

Unfortunately, due to reoccurring seizures, Shar’s service dog Bruno needed to be put down.
Since Bruno’s death, she has struggled more daily with the effects of her TBI (Traumatic brain injury) & PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and needs the help daily from a service dog.
Shar was in a motor vehicle accident min March 2014. After the car rolling 8 times this resulting in severe concussion with lots of bruising on the brain. Shar is now living with TBI symptoms and PTSD.
Shortly after her accident, she received a dog, named Bruno. Bruno changed her life, becoming not only her service dog but also her best friend.
Shar has worked through many different therapies to manage these symptoms and toward recovery.
Bruno was her service dog helped her to regain consciousness and was trained to nudge and regain her attention to her surroundings’. He reminded her to eat, drink or take medication. Aiding in memory related tasks, and providing security in public places. This service dog was trained to pick up on the subtle changes in her mood, heart rate, and stress levels making it able to intervene.
Family & Friends from Sundridge, Ontario are raising money to get Shar's service pup trained.
Having a dog by her side will help combat the hardships of living with her injury’s.
This service dog will help Shar's recovery physically and mentally to give her the support she needs to get out in public. A service dog provides loving companionship for this young lady
We are trying to raise money to pay for Enzo’s vaccinations, vet appointments, accessories like harnesses, collars, training toys and overall training for the new service dog Enzo.
Enzo was purchased for shar so that Enzo can go for the right training for Shar’s needs.
