Servant Leader Tribute Chuck Dennis

A Tribute to Support Chuck Dennis' Legacy of Servant Leadership

"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.  For while we were still weak at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person - though perhaps for a good person one would dare to die - but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. "

Why Should You Consider Supporting: A few words about Chuck from one person's perspective.
Chuck Dennis knew this truth deeply.  He was my friend, my brother, a great husband to his wife, my cousin (big sister) Theresa Dennis, extraordinary father to four boys, Alex, Thad, Charlie, and Mattie. A hard-working entrepreneur,  servant to several communities, including Charleston, SC, Fishers, IN, Anderson, IN, some in North Carolina, Beaver Island, some in Texas, and especially the Global Soccer Community, which includes some great friends in Denmark.  Chuck was a competitor who wanted the best for all he encountered.  He was also a great son to Marti and Bob Euneman and Jack and Louise Dennis.

All of the aforementioned is true but what you need to know is Chuck exuded Servant Leadership.

As a man, he put his God first.

-  As a husband, he loved his bride, Theresa Dennis sacrificially

-  As a father, he set out to raise men, not boys. And those boys are turning into truly fine young men. Chuck, knew raising men takes a man, and that is rare in today's society. I believe he has heard the words, "well done my good and faithful servant on that front."

- As a member of the communities, he served, he did just that helping countless young men achieve their goals in soccer and stepping into manhood.

How can you make a difference?
It's simple really. Donate whatever amount you can to support this family.

Chuck was the primary financial provider for his family. He worked hard and allowed Theresa to homeschool their four boys.  Together they worked as a team to raise their boys.

It's likely if you're reading this that you may have seen Chuck's servant heart at work. It could have been on the soccer field, helping a young boy reach their dream, helping a family find a new home, serving at the local food pantry or another place.

Now we're asking you to help his family. Rarely do we get the opportunity to see the impact our giving can make in this world. Whatever amount you can give the family will appreciate, and it will help Theresa, Alex, Thad, Charlie, and Mattie continue to stay the course Chuck has laid out for them.

In the words of his son Alex and I'm paraphrasing, "Now is the time for us to rise up and be the men our Dad, Chuck Dennis has taught us to be.

That is a pretty good piece of insight from my Godson.  I am proud of him, and I know Chuck is proud as he looks down on his family.

So, we're asking you to help this family out and give as much as your heart tells you to give.

The funds you donate will be used to meet the families daily living needs, and the boys become the men that Chuck and Theresa were developing.

About this request
This effort is supported by Theresa's cousins and countless friends.  At the request of GoFundMe, you should know that Chris Bass, Theresa's first cousin set up this page at the prompting of family and friends. Chuck and Theresa's oldest son Alex is his Godson. The funds for this campaign will be used to provide for the families daily living needs (food, clothing, etc.) and also to support them with arrangements to celebrate Chuck's life.
