Sepia has developed a heart disease

Donation protected
Hello friends.
My lovely Sepia has been diagnosed with a heart murmur a few months ago, and unfortunately it has progressed considerably, to the point that she has now been diagnosed with heart disease..
As you all know she is my baby as I had her since she was a puppy and I want to do all I can to give her a comfortable life, however much she has left.
To do this I need to ask for your help - please read on for more details..

As you might or might not know I am currently studying at community college to improve my life, so my financial resources are very limited, as I do not have a lot of time to work while going to school. I have a part time job as a sound tech but it barely pays the bills.

Medical care for dogs is not cheap, and even to just get to the bottom of what her exact condition is I need to pay for consultations with vets, expensive heart specialists, and go for pricey exams like x-rays and cardiograms.

So far I have had my vet see her and do blood work on her ($240 paid), which luckily came out clean. So they prescribed a chest x-ray, which we did today (another $140). Unfortunately the results of the x-ray were not good, as her heart looks enlarged and there seems to be fluid around it.
The vet has no doubt, she has some kind of heart disease...

The first thing to do is to keep her on heart medication, which costs me $90 for a month's supply.
We are on a waiting list to see the most affordable dog heart specialist in the area, who will be able to give her a more in-depth exam (a cardiogram) and diagnose her condition more precisely to be able to target it more effectively with the most suitable medication. This exam and consultation will cost somewhere between $400 and $500 all going well.

So here you have it, I am in total distress and I need all the help I can get to look after my Sepia as well as she deserves. I have already drained all my reserves and I will soon need to find more money for the remaining exams and the regular meds I will need to keep buying for her, as well as my own living expenses of course.

I do not intend to obsess on medicating her to keep her alive for selfish reasons, if and when she will not be comfortable or able to lead a happy life I am fully prepared to let her go and end her suffering but at this point there are genuine hopes that very specific and targeted heart medication will at least prevent her from getting worse, if not actually improve.

If you can help please do, with whatever you can afford, and if you cannot then please do help at least by sharing this with people who might be able to help.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
