Sensorbot Air Monitoring Network

$10,000 goal

Campaign created 7 months ago
Sensorbot is a project to build a network of air quality sensors in Portland, Oregon, to monitor and map levels of particulate pollution (PM10 and PM2.5) from sources such as diesel and wood smoke. Funds will be used to cover material costs and other ongoing expenses of the project.  The more funds we raise, the more sensors we can build and deploy, the more data we can collect, and the more powerful message we can send.

Several devices have been built and tested; the design is solid.  The software is written, and the server is already collecting data.  We are moving.

I am deeply appreciative of any contribution, no matter how small.  $50 covers the cost of a sensor.  $100 builds and deploys two.  $500 is enough to blanket a neighborhood with 10 sensors.

You can read more about the project at the Sensorbot website.  Please make a contribution, and be part of cleaning up our air.
