Send Shy To London


After losing an unjust battle to a job loss and a lawsuit, last year, my drive to finish college hit rock bottom. Today, I have regathered my focus, and my progress has led me back to a spot on the University's Honors list. I, a young Black woman from a low-privileged community, am continuing to go the distance. I am finally fulfilling my childhood dream of experiencing one of the first places that I have always wanted to visit outside of the United States. My school, Cal State East Bay, has accepted me to study abroad in London!



I will be studying documentary filming during my journey through the program, which will also be the final stage of my undergraduate career. But I need your help:

I have until June 11th to pay for my study abroad tuition, as well as collect enough funds to afford flight booking, transportation, food and living expenses.



My goal is to help spread the importance of voices of the misfortunate overseas, and to represent as a Woman of color, who embraces Hip-Hop culture in it’s original, impactful form. I greatly appreciate your donation, as well as sharing of my campaign. I have never traveled outside of the country before and I promise to make this investment worth it.
