Help Send Jim Brock to Greece

Donation protected
This is Jim Brock, aka "Dad". If you know me you've probably heard stories about how positive, funny and big hearted he is. You probably also know that he has Multiple Sclerosis and is a quadriplegic because of it.

While there are perks to being the captain of a heavy duty powered wheelchair (ability to move large furniture with a simple push, being a diplomat for future human-cyborg relations, constant opportunity for doing donuts), there are also some challenges. One of the biggest is travel. Until recently we assumed traveling, much less internationally, was off limits due to the difficulty of finding and funding all of the needed resources.

We now have the incredible opportunity to go to Greece as a family so Dad can visit his mother, whom he hasn't been able to see in over 6 years and assumed he'd never get to see again. Thanks to a lot of research and planning, Cynthia (aka my other mother) realized we could actually make this happen. But we need some help.

Why is his travel so expensive? Dad has to fly business class because he has to be able to recline (sitting in one position for too long is dangerous), ground transportation upon arrival and throughout the trip requires specialty vehicles, accommodations require wide enough doorways and large elevators, all which can be very hard to find and guarantee from a different continent.
