Team Sending Courage
CrossFit Truckee's Coach Mike and Coach Al will be joining forces and competing in this years Metcon 4 Hope, hosted by Double Edge Fitness in Reno, Nevada on November 10th, 2018.
The Metcon 4 Hope is an annual competition benefiting a local nonprofit organization chosen each year by the staff at Double Edge Fitness. This year all proceeds and donations received will benefit the STEP2 organization based in Reno.
The mission of STEP2 is to provide comprehensive, coordinated services related to the treatment and recovery of chemically dependent women and their families, resulting in sustainable self-sufficiency.

In conjunction with supporting STEP2 and in an effort to continue our support for other impactful nonprofit organizations in our local area, Mike and Al will be splitting the funds raised in this campaign equally three ways with two additional nonprofit organizations.
The Send It Foundation, the mission of the Send It Foundation is to inspire positivity, courage and gratitude in young adult cancer fighters through the gift of outdoor adventure and community.

The Courage Project, their mission is, through mindful engagement in inspiring outdoor experiences, we aim to enhance the lives of children who experience anxiety and depression and their families.
The Courage Project seeks to raise awareness and destigmatize mental health concerns, one adventure at a time.
