Hi! My name is Brenda and I am 17 years old, I have started this campaign because I am currenty getting ready for my first year of college. I will be attending Azusa Pacific University and I am super excited to be furthering my eduacation at such a wonderful school.
For those of you who don't know, APU is a christian university where God is first. I have chosen this school for many reasons, but that was definitely one of the many. My idea of fun is serving in my church in any way possible, from singing to teaching sunday school, I am always ready to serve. I believe that I have been placed at Azusa for a reason, from being accepted into the university without meeting the requirements to recieving random scholarships, so many doors have opened for me. The only downside to attending APU is the tuition... but I have faith that people like you will help me reach my goal.
Azusa Pacific University is approximately $43,000 a year but after my financial aid/scholarships, I have a balance of $18,000. Right now, my goal is to get as much help as I can to pay for my fall semester and that is why I am trying ot raise $13,000. For the spring, I plan to take a loan out but at this moment, I have not found any places where I can take a loan out at the age of 17 with no co-signer. Unfortunately, I do not have anyone who can co-sign for me to take a loan out, so I have decided to start this gofundme campaign as an alternative.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated as I will soon be starting at Azusa Pacific University. My deadline to pay for the fall semester is December 1, 2017. Once again, any donation is greatly appreciated and no donation is too small. If you are not able to donate, helping me spread the word for my campaign would be amazing!
