Every March, thousands of music business professionals and musicians descend on Austin TX for SXSW, 5 days and nights of lectures, speeches, networking, and of course live music. SXSW is THE event of the year (every year) for networking within the industry as well as new music discovery.
Dave Locane and Greg Kline have each been staples in the Trenton music community for over two decades. Together they have brought some of the best touring acts in the country to our small city, supported, mentored and provided a stage for up and coming local acts, and helped make Trenton a desirable touring destination, and get this, THEY DO IT FOR FREE... Thats right, these guys have never taken a dollar from the door or failed to pay a performer, they do it all for the love of music.
We are seeking financial assistance (Hoping to cover hotel and airfare) to send these boys to Austin TX for SXSW in hopes that they can make new connections or strengthen pre-existing relationships in the industry as well as recruit new talent and convince people that Trenton NJ is a worthy stop on their next tour. Donating to this fund will ultimately benefit you and our community.
