Send Sault Girls Wrestlers to NYC

The Algoma Wrestling Club's girls have had an outstanding season, winning provincial championships in multiple weight classes and placing third in the province as a team.  With this success comes many new opportunities, including the National Championships and international competition.

The AWC girls have the opportunity to compete at the Gotham City Open in New York City on April 22nd and 23rd.  This tournament features teams from Canada, Mexico, Italy and over 20 states from the USA.  Unfortunately the cost of this trip makes it prohibitive for many of our girls to attend.   Rental vehicles, hotel rooms, tournament registration and meals all make for an expenssive trip.  

The AWC's fundraises throughout the year to  achieve the goal of providing opportunity to all members, regardless of socio-economic status.  Please help us provide opportunities to this great group of young ladies who might not be otherwise able to afford such an amazing opportunity.
